Our Club

Soroptimist International (SI) of San Jacinto-Hemet Valley was chartered on October 27, 1961, and is one of 63 clubs in the Golden West Region (GWR), which includes Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California, Arizona except Yuma County, New Mexico, and El Paso County in Texas.

 

Our club has two regular meetings each month.  Business meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at 5:15 PM.  Project focus meetings take place on the fourth Thursday of each month and begin at 5:15 PM.  All meetings are held at Hemet Unified School District Nutrition Services, 2075 W. Acacia Avenue, Hemet, CA 92545.

Membership Responsibilities

As a Soroptimist, you will have some basic responsibilities, including:

u Getting Involved
Members are expected to share their time and talents by participating in club service projects and fundraising events, attending meetings, and taking advantage of leadership opportunities.

v Attending Meetings –
Being a regular attendee at meetings and club functions is important.  While there is no attendance requirement, participation will make you an informed, involved, and contributing member, instead of just a name on the roster.  It’s up to you!

w Paying Dues & Fees - 
Annual club dues are $100.  Dues are payable in four quarterly installments of $25.00.  The club year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30.
